FAQ - MASC
1. What is MASC?
Malaysia Accounting Students Convention is the only convention that gathers accounting students from both public and private institutions in Malaysia. The aim of this convention is to enhance the delegates to be competent, ethical and also socially responsible.
2. When and where will MASC 2014 be held?
11-14 December 2014 (4 days 3 nights), in University of Malaya.
3. Who can join MASC?
Malaysian accounting undergraduates.
4. I am an Economic and Business student, can I join?
Sure, but priority will be given to the accounting students.
5. I am a foreign student who study Accounting, can I join?
Can, as long as you are studying in Malaysia.
6. Why should I join MASC?
- To enlarge your social network
- To meet your future employers
- To HAVE FUN!
7. Where do the participants stay during MASC?
Participants will stay in the residential college in University of Malaya.
8. When does MASC 2014 registration open?
28 Nov 2013
9. What is the participation fees for MASC 2014?
RM 60 per person
10. What is the payment DEADLINE?
16 DEC 2013
11. How do I register for MASC?
Online registration via e-form in our Official MASC 2014 Facebook page or in our Official MASC 2014 Blogspot.
12. Can I register at the door?
No. You are encouraged to register via online.
13. Is it possible for me to get a refund for my payment?
No.
14. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
No, you can't. Do contact us if you have further doubts regarding this issue.
15. Is transportation provided?
No. We apologize that it's beyond our limit to provide direct transport to our participants. However, due to UM location which is in the outskirt of KL city, we do have numbers of public transport which can reach here easily.
i. From KL Central: Participants may ride LRT from KL Central to University Station, then take Rapid KL buses(T632) to reach University of Malaya. If participants were from the monorail KL Central monorail station, participants may take MetroBus (no.12) or RapidKL (U85) to reach Intan Gate of University of Malaya. By Taxi - 15 minutes distance to reach University of Malaya.
ii. From Bukit Jalil: Participants may ride LRT from Bukit Jalil Station to Masjid Jamek Station and transfer to Kelana Jaya Line to University Station. Upon reaching University Station, participants may ride Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.
iii. From Titiwangsa: Participants may ride monorail from Titiwangsa Station to KL Central. Then, ride Metro Bus (no.12) or Rapid KL (U85) to reach Intan Gate of University Malaya.
iv. From UKM/Nilai (KTM): Participants may ride KTM to KL Central and then proceed to ride LRT form KL Central, disembark at Universiti Station, take Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.
