How to Get to UM

Direction to 3rd Residential College 

Public Transport to University of Malaya





Public Transport to University of Malaya

From KL Sentral
Participants may take the LRT from KL Sentral to Universiti Station. Then, take the Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.
By Taxi - 15 minutes distance to reach University of Malaya.

From Bukit Jalil
Participants may take the LRT from Bukit Jalil Station to Masjid Jamek Station and then transfer to Kelana Jaya Line to Universiti Station. Upon reaching Universiti Station,  participants may ride Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.


From Putra Station
Participants may take LRT from PWTC Station to Masjid Jamek Station and then transfer to Kelana Jaya Line to Universiti Station. Then take Rapid KL buses (T632) to University of Malaya.


From TitiwangsaParticipants may take monorail from Titiwangsa Station to KL Sentral. Then, take Metro Bus (no.12) or Rapid KL (U85) to reach Intan Gate of University of Malaya.

From UKM/Nilai (KTM)
Participants may take KTM to KL Sentral and then proceed to take LRT from KL Sentral to Universiti Station, take RapidKL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.

From Duta Bus Station
There is no LRT or Monorail Station, so is recommended to take taxi to reach University of Malaya.

From Station UniversityWhen you reach there, you may take Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University of Malaya.

From Midvalley KTM Station
You may go to the north court to take Rapid KL buses (T631)  to reach University Station. Then, take Rapid KL buses (T632) to reach University Malaya.

From Subang Airport
  1. Take a taxi from Subang Airport to Kelana Jaya LRT Station. Approximately 15 minutes. Taxi fare  RM 20.00
  2. Take Kelana Jaya Line towards Gombak to Universiti LRT Station. The journey fare will be RM 1.30.
  3. Take Rapid KL Bus T632 (RM 1.00) to University of Malaya.

From KLIA
  1. Take the Airport Coach for a one way journey to KL Sentral. You can purchase the ticket at the respective counter for RM 10.00.
  2. Take Kelana Jaya Line towards Kelana Jaya to Universiti LRT Station. The journey fare will be RM 1.60
  3. Take Rapid KL Bus T632 (RM 1.00) to University of Malaya
From LCCT
  1. Take the Skybus service to KL Sentral for RM 9.00 or Aerobus service to KL Sentral for RM8.00
  2. Take Kelana Jaya Line towards Kelana Jaya to Universiti LRT Station. The journey fare will be RM 1.60
  3. Take Rapid KL Bus T632 (RM 1.00) to University of Malaya.

What's new in MASC this year?

Together We Love - Together We Cook



Together We Love is actually a charity programme where we will be bringing children from an orphanage to join MASC. Last year, in MASC 2013, all of us worked with those lovely kids in creating the working environment of their dream of occupation. This year, what are we going to do? We are going to COOK with them. Participants and the kids have to work and  interact with each other in order to complete the task - PREPARE A LUNCH BOX!  Besides, we will be having some interesting activities too such as decorating the stalls and funfair games. Let's have fun with those lovely kids. 


PwC After Earth Adventure



Here, the Pwc After Earth Adventure! We will be playing our adventure games in the middle of Kuala Lumpur which is at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. There will be 7 "planets" allocated in the lake garden. You have to solve each mission in each planet. Finally, the winner will be decided based on your group's success in each planet. Can you imagine how it will be like? Up for the challenge??

Dr. Maya Khemlani David 


Professor Dr. Maya Khemlani David (Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, University of Malaya) received the Linguapax Award in 2007 and   is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, United Kingdom and an Honorary Member of the Foundation of Endangered Languages. As a sociolinguist, Dr. David has a special interest in discourse analysis, languages in Malaysian minority communities, and the role of language in establishing and maintaining national unity within and across cultures.

She is a Visiting Scholar, College for Women and also consultant (ELT) for Kinnaird College, both in Lahore, Pakistan. She also is Hon. Academic Consultant, London College of Clinical Hypnosis. Tan Theng Hooi is the Country Managing Partner and has more than 35 years of experience in the public accounting practice with Deloitte. His extensive experience encompasses auditing, tax, business and financial advisory services. He has served various multinational and local companies and acted as an adviser in corporate governance and listing of  companies on the Malaysian Stock Exchange. He has provided business advisory services and led merger and acquisition deals to clients locally and in the region. Theng Hooi is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Fellow of CPA Australia. Puan Hamidah Naziadin


Hamidah Naziadin is Head of Group Corporate Resources, CIMB Group, and also its Group Chief People Officer. Hamidah grew the human resource management function in CIMB from support to a strategic business function, even as the organisation grew from a boutique investment bank into an ASEAN universal banker. 

Under her stewardship, CIMB developed innovative recruitment programmes for fresh graduates such as The Complete BankerTM and CIMB Fusion, competitive compensation & benefits packages, and a strong learning and talent development framework – all of which help to ensure a strong and sustainable talent pipeline for CIMB.

Currently the CEO of Money Tree Asia Pacific Limited, a company which offers and conducts programs on improving financial, investment, and entrepreneurial skills amongst the young from ages 6 upwards. 

He is actively involved in the program, and speaks to youth on issues related to Investments & Entrepreneurship. He also works with Institutions of Higher Learning to design and develop curriculum for training undergraduates on Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship that goes beyond the classroom. He is currently working on projects in Asia Pacific (primarily Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong & Australia) & Europe to promote and develop key learning initiatives in these fields.  

Michael is also a non-executive director of a group of companies in Poland involved in trading, property development and 3D Visualisation. Prior to MoneyTree, Michael spent 12 years in Advertising & Marketing Consultancy.
