Our Public Relations Department member, Chye Zu Er had interviewed Mr Michael Teoh- a renowned speaker. Here was what he posted on his Facebook page.
"Happy Sunday! Here is a Story of Touching Lives in the Past (Today) and How You could be Responsible for Many Good Things to Come in the Future. I first met Zu Er (The girl seated to my right in the photo) when i went to her secondary school, Jit Sin High School Bukit Mertajam to give a talk a few years back. She was then in Form 3, getting ready to sit for her PMR exams. Fast forward to today, she is in her 1st year of studies in University Malaya and is doing well, leading student-run societies and organising Malaysia's largest Accounting Students Conference (MASC). What was interesting was how she related the Importance or Impact of a few Spoken Words and Sharing of Ideas & Experiences have Inspired her and led her to Live Life to its Fullest Potential today. I tend to believe where the saying that 'Talk is Cheap and Action is Everything', but in certain cases, those 'Small Talks' that you do, can indeed change lives for the better...Maybe not today, but sometime in the future, as people remember and reflect on what you said to them. Just a thought!"
